MDC took on a project to design a hotel in Jiangxi province in China. Over a period of two years, Morrelli and team of architects made 12 trips to China, and submitted Concept, Schematics and Design Development with All CD’s under preparation.  For undisclosed reasons the project was abandoned, the land was sold. The client underwent a restructure of business.  Though it was disappointing to have done so much work to no avail, the concept was extraordinary.   A hillside resort overlooking a lake in the form of a dragon, with its offspring, and a temple to the element of water.
